1. What does LW Leatherworking do?

LW Leatherworking is a craft/handmade business specialising in high-quality leather goods (e.g. wallets, belts, bags, accessories). We design, produce, and sell custom leather items with attention to durability, craftsmanship, and aesthetics.

2. What materials do you use?

We use premium, full-grain leather (or top-grain, vegetable-tanned, etc. — depending on item), strong hardware (buckles, rivets), quality threads/wax, and finishes to protect and age the leather gracefully.

3. Can I order a custom or personalized item?

Yes! We accept custom orders — whether you want custom dimensions, color choices, initials or embossing, or a bespoke design. You can contact us with your requirements and we’ll quote based on complexity and materials.

4. How long does production take?

Typical production time is 2 to 5 days depending on the current backlog and complexity of the item. Custom orders may take longer. Once your order is in process, we’ll give you an estimated completion date.

5. Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship globally. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on destination and shipping method. All shipments are tracked and insured. (If there are any restrictions or extra duties to some countries, mention them.)

6. What are your payment methods?

We accept major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), PayPal, and sometimes bank transfers.

7. What is your return / refund policy?

If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 30 days with photos and we’ll arrange repair, replacement, or refund.

Because leather goods acquire patina and change over time, minor variations in color/texture are expected and not considered defects.

For custom orders, refunds may be limited or non-existent depending on how far into production the item is.

8. How do I care for my leather product?

i) Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe off dust.

ii) Apply leather conditioner or wax (approved for your item’s leather type) every so often to maintain suppleness.

iii) Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, or heat sources.

iv) If it gets wet, let it air dry naturally—don’t use hairdryers, etc.

v) For scratches, gentle buffing or re-conditioning may reduce their appearance (depending on leather).

9. Do you wholesale or accept bulk orders?

Yes — for retailers, boutiques or large custom orders, we offer wholesale rates. Please contact us with quantities, styles, and your location for a quote.

10. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost depends on the destination, weight, size, and method (standard, express). Before checkout, you’ll see the shipping options and fees. We aim to keep shipping affordable without compromising package safety.

11. Will customs or import taxes apply?

Possibly — depending on your country. The buyer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or processing fees. We’ll do our best to label packages correctly, but we don’t control import rules in your country.
