Custom Fire Service Alerter Case (Birdy & Multitone Type)

This custom fire service alerter case is handmade in my Norfolk workshop from premium full grain leather. Designed specifically for Birdy and Multitone type alerters, it provides durable everyday protection for your pager while adding a personalised touch built around practical use.

Full grain leather is the strongest and most characterful part of the hide. Its natural grain gives it a distinctive texture straight away, and with regular use it develops a rich patina that becomes uniquely yours over time.

Every case is cut, stitched and finished by hand by me. There are no production lines or machines - just careful craftsmanship using quality materials that are made to last.

Why Full Grain Leather?

Full grain leather is the strongest and most durable part of the hide. Unlike bonded or synthetic materials, it retains its natural grain and develops more character as it's carried.

With time, the leather becomes softer, the colour gains depth and the case takes on a look that's unique to you. It's the kind of material that's made to be enjoyed rather than replaced.

Handmade from Start to Finish

Every alerter case is made entirely by hand in my Norfolk workshop. I carefully select each piece of leather, cut it by hand, stitch and assemble it myself, then burnish and finish the edges individually.

Because leather is a natural material and every hide is different, no two cases will ever be exactly the same. That's part of what makes handmade leather goods special.

Looking After Your Case

This case doesn't need much maintenance. Simply wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. If the leather begins to look dry after years of use, a small amount of leather conditioner will help keep it looking its best.

Please Note

Full grain leather is a natural material, so every case will have its own grain pattern, markings and slight colour variations. These are not imperfections - they're part of the character of the leather and a reminder that your case has been made from a real hide rather than a synthetic material.
