Belt Templates - Long Point Design

A set of five long point belt templates for 25mm, 30mm, 35mm, 38mm and 40mm width belts. Each one is laser cut from 3mm basswood and includes both the strap end and the buckle end, so you can mark out a complete belt from a single template.

The long point is the classic belt tip: a gradual taper to a fine point. It gives a dress or western belt a sleek, traditional finish and feeds easily through buckles and keepers.

How to Use Them

Lay the template on your cut strap and line it up with the end. Scribe around the long point with a pen or scratch awl, then mark the hole positions through the template. Cut the tip with a sharp knife, punch the holes with a round punch and the buckle slot with an oblong punch, and you've got a matching set of holes and a clean, consistent tip every time.

Best for: Dress belts, western-style belts and anyone who wants a traditional, elegant tip.
